1. Data Controller

The data controller is L P L Network Services, registered in Dubai, UAE, contactable at hello@audience.money. As we offer services to individuals in the European Union, we comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in accordance with its extraterritorial scope (Art. 3(2)).

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Account Data

When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. Authentication is handled via magic link (passwordless) — we do not store passwords.

2.2 Analysis Data

When you run an analysis, we fetch publicly available data from social media platforms (profile info, follower count, engagement metrics, recent public posts). This data is processed to generate your report and stored in our database linked to your account or anonymous session.

2.3 Payment Data

Payments are processed by MamoPay. We store the transaction ID, amount, and status. We do not store credit card numbers or banking details — these are handled entirely by MamoPay.

2.4 Anonymous Sessions

If you use the Service without an account, we create an anonymous session via a cookie to track your free analysis quota. We store a hashed version of your IP address (not the raw IP) and your user agent for abuse prevention.

2.5 Technical Data

We use Vercel Analytics and Sentry for performance monitoring and error tracking. These services may collect anonymized usage data, page load times, and error reports. IP addresses in error reports are scrubbed before storage.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Art. 6)

  • Contract performance — processing your analysis request and delivering the report
  • Legitimate interest — abuse prevention (rate limiting, bot protection via Cloudflare Turnstile), service improvement
  • Consent — marketing emails (follow-up emails at Day 1 and Day 7 after analysis)

4. Data Sharing

We share data with the following third-party processors:

  • Vercel (hosting, analytics) — US, EU Standard Contractual Clauses
  • Neon (database) — US, SOC 2 compliant
  • Resend (email delivery) — US
  • Upstash (rate limiting, caching) — EU
  • Sentry (error tracking) — US, GDPR DPA
  • Cloudflare (bot protection) — US, EU representative appointed
  • MamoPay (payments) — UAE
  • OpenRouter / Anthropic (AI analysis) — US

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

5. Data Retention

  • Account data — retained until you delete your account
  • Reports — retained until you delete them or your account
  • Anonymous sessions — expire after 30 days
  • Payment records — retained for 5 years (legal obligation)

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Access — export all your data (Settings > Export my data)
  • Rectification — update your profile information
  • Erasure — delete your account and all associated data (Settings > Delete account)
  • Portability — download your data in JSON format
  • Object — contact us to opt out of specific processing

7. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

  • Session cookie — authentication (httpOnly, secure, essential)
  • Anonymous session cookie (avc_anon_id) — free analysis quota tracking (httpOnly, 30 days)
  • Referral cookie (avc_ref) — tracks referral attribution (httpOnly, 30 days)
  • Locale cookie — stores your language preference (1 year)

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may set its own cookies for bot detection.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical measures including HTTPS encryption, Content Security Policy, rate limiting, IP hashing, and access controls. Data is stored in encrypted databases with automated backups.

9. International Transfers

Some of our processors are located outside the EU. We rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and adequacy decisions where applicable to ensure adequate protection of your data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
